Thomas DeFanti, M.D. The Medical Group is pleased to welcome Thomas DeFanti, M.D. to its practice. After 15 years of OB/GYN practice in Biddeford, Dr. DeFanti is now focusing on routine obstetrics, office gynecology, and women's health issues. He graduated from St. Michael's College in Vermont in 1976 and Georgetown Medical School in 1981. Dr DeFanti originally trained as a family practitioner at Maine Medical Center. After practicing at an Indian Reservation and delivering babies in a rural setting, he returned to the Maine Medical Center program to specialize as an OB/GYN. His unique background gives him a comprehensive understanding of women's health and makes him an ideal fit for The Medical Group. close this window
